What-ev

So, besides someone dying I really cannot think of anything else terrible that can happen today. Seriously. So, instead of preparing for my presentation tomorrow or chorographing my team's miltary or studying for the Praxis I am taking on Saturday or reading the mounds of Literary Criticism I am assigned or any of the other thousands of things filling up my Franklin Covey, I am going to make a list of things that make me feel better on days like this:

Pumpkin cookies (good thing I have some at home)
Venting to my sis
The prospect of sleep
A very large Diet Dr. Pepper
Reading Mindy's blog
The funny-looking girl sitting across from me in the Library (I know, I am mean)
That my hubby will probably take me out to dinner tonight
That I just dropped a peanut M&M on the floor in the library, picked it up, and ate it
That one of my blue M&Ms chose not to follow the norm and is definitely non-circular
That my sister knows me well enough that when I said I was having a bad day, she said "drink some caffeine."
That the sky is stormy, like me!
That reminds me, anytime that Jer is sad, he says "I'm a storm cloud!" while pouting - that makes me happy.
That I saved my misshapen blue M&M and viciously ate the rest

Hopefully things will be better tomorrow.

If not, at least I still have this list.

Sorry you are having a downer of a day. May I suggest drinking some Sprite and thinking back to our carefree Jr. Miss days? (Of course, you might need to spike the Sprite with something caffeinated...)

Oh I know about crappy days. I love it that you are able to make it kinda silly though. Hope you and Jer are doing well. I was hoping to see you last weekend when I came by but sure enough you were in Cali. I missed you.

I think you need to groove to Jack Johnson and watch a chicky flick. Maybe contemplate kidnapping small children, or lock yourself in your room and have some squeeze their fingers under your door. You always managed to get stuff done when I did it.

xoxoxo

Thanks for the love all! Next time, I will for sure grab some sprite and have Kamie fill in my Ashley-void by softly calling to me under my door!
